some body getting tv rights is far better than none getting the rights like NZ, WI , BAN rights
Last min only Sony bought Pak, SL rights else those rights also blink for indian tv viewers

India team played in WI or NZ, once in 3 or 5 years, but Indian team/cricketers definetly play BCCI, ICC and IPL matches every year. so, STAR is away from away series and intrested in matches played in India, even advertisers also.

Even i am so irritate & bored to listen Akash chopra's hindi commentery on SS3Hindi. They should bring some more commentators.

But as a sports channel, it should concentrate on all sports and all the series, Just IPL highlights and BCCI matches won't help them to grow in long run.

But here, Money/Profit matters due to high revenue from advertisers, no one can run business for charity/loss as no one watches matches in WI till the end (3 am IST)
