What a sad for cricket. Cricket loving nation with over a billion population has to watch cricket in Standard Definition on TV in the year 2022 where world has moved on to 4K and 8K. Broadcasters specially public ones are still living in 90s. Now imagine India without liberalisation where DD had the monopoly.

loved sony sports they using sky sports graphics not their own for south Africa vs england series

Even star india used sky sports graphics when they had england cricket rights, just when India tours a foreign country then channels use their own graphics. One big plus of star sports is that they send their own broadcast and commentary team to the concerned country where Indian Team plays a series, this also applies to ICC events. So for all such series u will see not only different graphics but also a separate feed on star sports (india matches) when compared to home country / world feed. Although the host country board or broadcaster produce the feed themselves but star sports deploys own broadcast team to choose all the camera angles & other things for their feed.

Except having different graphics for matches played by Indian team abroad, i have not seen sony implement any other change as done by star sports. Their commentary is done from India Studio and world feed video is aired on the channel

Let's see how pvt. broadcasters bid for home matches, after DD allowed to telecast test matches also.
80% revenue from DDFD is nothing for pvt. broadcaster the cost they spending for buying rights.
DD not aggressively going for ads in between match as they getting only 20%

But wherein is the issue? Even if DD was not airing any cricket match let alone test match then private broadcasters would have bid for rights, aired matches on pay tv platforms and got 0 revenue from DD Free Dish or Terrestrial segment. Now that DD is airing matches , they will get 80% ad revenue share and large section of audience will get to watch their favorite. There is hardly any risk of large chunk of viewers shifting from pay tv platforms to DD Free Dish just to access Free Cricket / Sports . Private broadcasters should themselves come forward and air select sports content on terrestrial and DD Free Dish, it will infact generate interest among such viewers to upgrade to pay tv platforms

There is a bidding system wherein both DD and private broadcaster participate and winner sells ad slots for such shared matches on DD Sports

Yeah, it's Just 6 to 8 matches. But Broadcaster still sold other important matches ad slots for Good price.

Not necessarily unless it is a big clash , for example Australia Vs England and in that case too ad spot rates most probably will b far less that what is fetched for matches played by Indian team. Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final might get somewhat higher revenue for private sports broadcasters but that is also dependent on various other things like time of match, whether india is playing or not etc.
