What do u guys feel is the broadcaster which has better strategy, mechanism, resources, experience,,understanding to best monetize sporting rights they acquire .

I feel Star Sports Network is best positioned in this regard, other still somewhat lack behind in everaging the best out of opportunities which r made available bcoz of various factors

SS lacks in below points in their cricket strategy.
- SS can show all domestic cricket with their rich regional channels, like TN matches in ss tamil, andhra matches in ss telugu, as they have rights BCCI domestic cricket.
- SS lost interest in the other country cricket rights after 2015, 4 years back they gained SA rights , now they bought Aus cricket rights.
They only interest in IPL, BCCI , and ICC matches, just hyping the IPL to bigger amount.
SS thinks indians will watch only IPL and showing IPL highlights all over the year. But that is not the real case. They have to understand sports fans needs and should go for WI / Ban home matches

Buddy, ur points r valid and Star Sports is infact trying to improve on this front and acquire / air different sports events but as i have discussed earlier too there is a logical reason for them to focus more on IPL, India Cricket and even telecast more highlights of the same. They would themselves not b happy with this content strategy but to run a financially viable sports broadcast business they have no option but to give more focus to key cricket properties

The BCCI is looking for bidders on a per-match, per-season basis. There are no packages specified for Indian subcontinent, with all being global deals. There are three packages on offer, with A being TV Rights, B being Digital and C being the combined rights. The fee for the combined rights has to be bigger than the A+B sale.

One word pathetic. While Sony airs almost everything in their regional channels. They keep it to highlights. Why not give Wimbledon and F1 Racing a Bengali or a Tamil feed? They are preventing these sports from growing. They need to more research. Some market like Maharashtra with higher GDP will attract more advertisers than both Telugu state. Yet, they won't give a channel here. Bengali feed can expand operation to Tripura, Orissa and other countries like Bangladesh.
