Strategically the most beneficial player should be youtube. If they buy the rights and bundle with youtube premium. It will be like a trial. Once people gets used to PiP and background play. Too much ads won't push people towards premium. Something like live cricket will. There isn't going back from premium than.Only Sony, Viacom and Disney are serious contenders. Rest all just buy the documents for education purpose .

they've rights till 2024 . They've mentioned it about BCCI rights when they've acquired IPL rights.Hotstar claiming they have rights for Australia tour of India october 2023 .
But as per previous agreement BCCI rights with Star will expire on March 31st 2023.
Are they too confident over getting rights or is is something fishy like lobbying etc?
When they acquired bcci rights in 2018 bcci and star officially mentioned they have rights till march 31 2023they've rights till 2024 . They've mentioned it about BCCI rights when they've acquired IPL rights.
