Already the terms between SS and BCCI is not good, mostly SS won't renew the BCCI rights. That's why SS invested huge in IPL, ICC rights (TV and digital rights respectively) and Aus home cricket rights.
Sports 18 mostly will get BCCI rights , but how they can manage the domestic matches and will they can show domestic matches like SS is the question

Try illegally streaming Bangladeshi feed. Star is too good to show any sports in Bengali. It's only Bangla sports channel which was poorly distributed and aired highlights almost 90% of the time over live sports is shutting down citing poor ratings.

Few months ago, I called it out in this forum about how Jio will invest in tech to give a superior IPL experience than what linear tv offers.

They're doing exactly that while Hotstar failed.

IPL on Hotstar was mostly viewed on mobile data as well. That won't be a problem. Most people doesn't streams the entire match.

hotstar and Jio cinema/Voot consumed more data in low resolution too, 2 GB data not enough even for 1 hour live streaming.
