Whole network is having a numerology overdose. They have a Super Hungama for Hungama. Star Gold 2 for Star Gold. They have an upcoming channel called Star Utsav 2.

Isn't same the case with sony? Well sony has less number of channels in other genres except sports where they r little behind Disney-Star but u r just targeting Disney-Star and avoiding commenting on Sony unless someone points it out to u.

Also there is nothing wrong with creating a brand umbrella of Star Gold, Star Utsav and Star Sports and launching numerical channels under it. What should not happen is unnecessary numbering introduced on a channel like is the case for Star Sports Regional Sports Channels and Sony Ten 4

No denying here. Star had Star ONE which actually sounded and looked great. I think numbering is just odd. Even DD 2 is DD Metro. Even Dino bro you got 29 for some reason.

Sony Sports idolizes Star Sports, period. This is why they skip BBL/WBBL matches, has regional channels with odd commentary and let's not forget the numbers. Soon Viacom will also do same. They have a channel with a hideous logo and 1 number.

Now I understand that why you write long detailed explanation, they even forgot Sony have channel called Max 2 and Sony Sports Ten 5 HD. Simply avoid quoting these quotes, here our discussion on Negative or pros nothing will change broadcasters mindset and strategy.

As you said sharing feedback through mail to broadcasters, I feel it's make sense because rarely audience share feedback and broadcaster least sometimes gives importance to these feedbacks.
