One thing I will give it to the trolls is Star Sports has taken star worshipment to a whole different level from rebrand onwards. Most players apart from the obvious didn't got the deserved push. They come and go. Takes to the old timers hoarding all the spotlight. Even when they lost their worth. They were still in the team because of the popularity. Same wasn't the case before. Even Ganguly had to go. Nor was any effort taken by Star to push domestic players. Sometimes matches itself weren't televised. Someone or other had to call them out.
