True, but there was no HD feed at the time, other than a pop-up Sony Max HD channel in 2011 and 2012. And even after Sony Max HD was launched at the end of 2015, the HD feed still did not show the IPL.

But watching Extraaa Innings T20 presented by Gaurav Kapur (not to mention the innovative new theme songs every year) was pure bliss. He is now mostly found on Cricbuzz Live in either English or Hindi.

That pure nostalgia tune from Max and their creativity of making promos for IPL & intro for Extraaa Innings every year was so damn good. I think Sony Entertainment Television also aired highlights every day early morning.

I'm pretty sure if Sony won the rights of current IPL then Max and Wah would broadcast LIVE IPL just like Star Gold and Star Utsav Movies.

That's not VIP service. On VIP service you can't watch the match. You also only get Hindi commentary or it's muted during ads.
