I am sure, FX HD will be launched anyhow before 21st September as Star India is going to telecast the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards to Indian audiences on 21st September, 2015. And the Star network has aired more than 50 shows in India this year and 28 of those are vying for the trophy within all major contested categories this year. The Network has a staggering 98 nominations across categories for this year’s Emmys. And its well known that the Primetime Emmy Awards is touted as the Oscars of the small screen. This glamorous gala is already going to be simulcast LIVE on Star World, Star World HD, Star World Premiere HD and FX. That's why, I think, Star India will try to launch FX HD channel anyhow before 21st September so that it can telecast the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards as a simulcast LIVE on FX HD also !!

Star India is also ready to launch the high-definition feed
of the channel by the third week of September.
“Within the next three weeks, we will launch FX HD across All operators. That’s where we will take FX edge to the
next level as a lot of these shows are visual delights
because of the effects. So by the third week of
September, we will launch FX HD,” Vaz said.

reported earlier that the company
was planning to launch FX HD by July 2015. However, the
plans got delayed by two months.
