The next step is to remove the Viacom18 logo that’s always been a part of the Colors logo, but that could take months to happen. I don’t expect any Colors channels to change their branding otherwise.

However, at a broader level we will soon start seeing promo campaigns at the consumer level, stating that ‘aapke favourite Star aur Colors channels jud gaye hai’ (your favourite Star and Colors channels have joined) or something like that.

Viacom18 logo below channels will not be removed.... Remember Viacom18 and Jio Cinema have been merged into Star India Private Limited (which has remained the subsidiary of Disney Star as well as erstwhile Fox which owned Star India for operating + managing its TV Channels) .... So Viacom18 still is a separate entity which owns these channels but it is now part of Star India as a whole which is part of JioStar JV..... Also neither Jio Cinema branding will be changed though it also is part of Star India now

i know it was when it was under FOX but then it was changed to Disney Star and now again its changed back to SIPL

No, Star SIPL channels never moved under Disney registered companies Disney broadcasting Or UTV Communications in India. Hutch, Fox/news crop and Disney keeps Star name and protected Star Brand identity, Don't know about SIPL future with new joint venture.
