In Karnataka both channels fiction team are informed that they still are competitors. Whereas nonfiction team will work together.
 
Neither Star Sports nor Jio Cinema used their own mics in this auction which they have been using since the last 2 seasons, so I think there will be new mics with the logo/title of Jio Star in the upcoming season of IPL

Not a logo change because it's a brand identity they have created over the years. But yes JioStar could have a logo and that would be advertised everywhere ( eg.Viacom18 is replaced by JioStar in Colors.)

No chance bro. Similarly when Disney acquired Star India, so many members speculated channels name going to change as 'Disney Star Plus', 'Disney Bharat' etc. Its about brand name suitability. Not only Disney anybody will choose to keep the names unchanged. May 'Star' or 'Colors' branding get swapped eachother, while importing parent company branding everywhere is unnecessary.

So weird to say like jiostar plus jiostar maa .. I'm sure they won't change the names like this
 
Some of the wrong decisions by star india which led to its downfall
1 Uday Shankar aggressiveness in Indian cricket:
Acquiring rights in high prices lead to its dismal financial performance and then their deal with Zee for icc rights failed and jio cinema started free streaming of ipl which gave them another setback only good thing they did that they didn't gone for bcci Asia cup ipl ott rights
2 Hotstar s below average movie acquisitions: During pandemic hotstar acquired many crap movies of big stars which initally gave them great views but when hotstar lost rights of ipl and bcci people started unsubscribing hotstar which lead to its downfall
3 Aggressiveness of Fox star studios:
Their film studio saw great successes during 2016-18 which lead them producing 10 films a year i think which was a wrong decision and they started facing failures

But the logo not revealing is indicating to this only otherwise their is no use of "JioStar" branding apart from Channel Names or OTT.

Time will tell us, we all don't know anything exactly, all are just speculations....
 
I think one thing they did that was right that they didn't became aggressive in satellite movie acquisitions star gold did limited movie acquisitions and had a Bollywood centric strategy which gave them good ratings and ended deals with some big names like salman khan Ajay Devgan Sajid nadiadwala when they didn't found suitable even when they had such successful partnerships with them
