Mumbai : Star Movies Select HD has set benchmarks in the past year, showcasing stories that have left everyone spellbound.
It also took on the responsibility of taking its audience through a mesmerising journey with premieres that included several Oscar-nominated movies such as Gone Girl, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Birdman,Boyhood, The Theory of Everything and Whiplash,among others. It also introduced the concept of ‘Unreleased Premieres’ that gave its viewers an opportunity to watch movies which have never been released in India.
Being the home to the best stories, the broadcaster has decided to celebrate its anniversary – The Book Adaptations Festival — starting July 17, every Sunday,at 1 pm and 3 pm.
When we read a book, we tend to imagine ourselves as a part of the story. And some stories we secretly wish were ours. Star Movies Select HD gives its viewers an opportunity to witness some of the best books come alive.
