STAR Network Decision is good to Telecast IPL Matches on Their Movie Channels?

Airtel & Tata sky are giving star sports channels free for all customers.
Sundirect included star sports in all packs.
So no need of loss to star.
They can give ipl live in star sports first to at least dd freedish only for more revenue

If it would've been shown on SS first also then their main source of income would've been mostly ad revenue but currently most of the people are subscribing to SS channels & they're getting more money as the MRP of those channels are more than SS First. Moreover, they're getting huge money from airtel & Tata Sky as their each & every customer is getting SS so they need to pay on behalf of their all customers.

Airtel or Tata Sky isn't paying anything from their pocket to Star India for giving subscribers free access to these channels. Airtel/Tata Sky r major contributors towards subscription revenue for Star India hence Star has given them free preview for these channels during IPL period.

Dish/d2h is now a side player and cable companies though having majority of subscribers under decalare figures hence won't be eligible for these special benefits.

So eventually even broadcasters are feeling the brunt of TRAI new regime.
Feeling sad for Dish/d2h as they wont be getting these channels for free.

Disney did air live sports before, back in 2010.

Now live cricket telecast on Disney channels

One of the reason for changing the tarrif system was this also. TRAI wanted to end the special relationship between broadcaster & DPO as due to it some DPOs were getting huge discount. How can Star do it now? If Star is giving the free preview then why Tata Sky is not giving the HD versions & SS1? How airtel is giving those channels?
Few days back also airtel was giving SS for free & I don't think that the preview was given by Star.
TRAI's chairman clearly said that the new rules will bring transparency. The prices among all DPOs will be same.
All this is, what I think. It can be right or wrong.

How? Is DD free dish having any different feed of SSF that it'll given only to them?
What they could've done is to share the feed with DD Sports by blocking it for DTHs/MSOs.

Not everyone is using SD & most of the people using DTH are making their own pack.

Cricket is a religion so it will be watched for sure now Dish has 2 time more subscribers than TS/ADTV so star subscription revenue should be more from from Dish
