Most probably SS Malayalam will also move in the way of all other regional sports channels from Star.Cricket,ISL etc.But Kerala had an equal fan base for Football.So they should telecast international football matches they have as @abinet369 bro said.

what about kerala premier league football??

It is now operating without a broadcaster.
Due to lack of clubs, they are now running the league by including departmental teams.
People don't even know when the league runs.

PKL hardly got any fans in Kerala.
So no point in hurrying for SS1 Malayalam launch with PKL.
Better to plan EPL with Malayalam commentary and launch.
