Good to hear star and sony fighting for Aus cricket rights and they forgot the NZ WI rights..
Even Aus matches starts 4.30AM and but only thing Aus has Ashes series, which most indians interested

Aus have confirmed India tours in 5 years. So this fighting.
There is less India matches in NZ/WI, so none interested.

KS Shriniwas explained everything about Recent developments on CA Rights.
Source
This KS Shriniwas cannot be trusted completely. He first mentioned Sony won the TV rights for IPL and everyone posted that Star won the rights, He changed his word again and said Star won. Now he said Sony renewed Cricket Australia rights for 8 years and now he changed his word saying Star won for 7 years. Tomorrow if official press note comes as Star won for 4 years, then he will come up with another new story

Sports 18 doesn't looks to fulfill sports lover dream , just lauched to secure india matches / ipl matches and get most profit out from them.
Other hand, sky sports fulfills sports lover and securing all matches over the world and also gets profit from that one.
In india star doing that one till 2011, after getting india home matches, it's brand gets demolished over profit. TEN sports and ESPN doing that one for period, now none is thr to fulfill the sports lover

If star really won CA rights, let's hope that all international/bbl matches be telecasted on tv in India.

Agree bro, sports channel concentrating on profit only, no need of launching new channels if you are not acquiring cricket rights all over the world
