TV & OTT can't be compared. Having sports channels and its HD versions in all languages is not that easy. Star atleast have regional SD channels in few languages while others have no presence out of Hindi & English.

Yeah I know, but my point is they launched almost all south language HD sports channels (including Malayalam feed on SS1 HD). But what's wrong with ss1 kannada HD?

Now curious to know what is the situation of regional star sports channel in regional wise rating so we understand star in future will launch more regional channels or not

Star Sports 1 Tamil/Kannada or Telugu limited in South states, overall it's another Regional sports channels like Star Sports Hindi. here Regional Star Sports Hindi got huge viewership from North HSMs, MH, WB only.

But sad in roi star utsav movies not get chance inspite of giving match almost free not a rs cost looks like due to no jd feed costed star utsav movies

Pravah Picture TRP is mediocre it wasn't even in top 10 mah/goa normally having half the grp of zee talkies
Also they are telecasting only MI matches and weekend one's

Wrong assessment. People in Maharashtra prefers to watch their favourite sports in Marathi and Bengalis love watching in Bangla. Bengal has a sports culture. We have genuine sports commentator unlike other regions where cringe DJ's who knows chicken wings about sports comes to commentate.

People in Bengal doesn't know Bangla being available for KKR's matches on Star Sports 1.

No! In Maharashtra & West Bengal people prefer in Hindi only 'Star Sports 1 Hindi'. In MH/GA Star Sports 1 Hindi is on 2nd position & West Bengal it's on 3rd.

I don't think so, because not all matches are available in marathi commentary on Pravah Picture. Also there is an marathi audio feed is available on Star Sports 1 Hindi. May be it is helpful to boost ss1 Hindi's viewership in maharashtra. In previous year marathi audio feed was not available on SS1 Hindi meanwhile channel viewership was not much like current year. In previous year SS1 Hindi was at 5th position. But now it is on 2 nd position in MH/GOA.
But one thing have to appreciate to star that marathi commentary of star is far better than jio. Also people getting more time for accepting marathi commentary because from several years people are attached to only Hindi and English commentary. Unfortunately marathi people's are not so insistent/aggressive for marathi as south indian people's that why star is not considering/interested for launch of dedicated marathi sport channel.

Pravah Picture draws this fortune itself. Star launched PP as dedicated movie channel, but suddenly without any viewers demand they started telecasting old serials on the channel. I think Pravah Picture not competing with Zee Talkies they are just competing with free to air channel like Shemaroo Marathibana, Fakt Marathi or Zee Chitramandir. Let me know why people have to subscribe pay channel to watch old soaps? Other hand Zee efficiently handle 4 movies channel Zee Talkies, Zee Talkies HD, Zee Yuva & Zee Chitramandir. I know that Zee also not using there movie library efficiently, some movies are repeating many times. But atleast they stick to movie genre.
