They telecasted pkl on ss first instead of star gold so isl should also have been telecasted on ss first/star gold to earn more viewer

Star Sports First is not available in All Local Cable or DTH where Star Gold is available on mostly all base packs n all DTH/ Cable so they should have shown ISL in Star Gold n IPL too.

Star Sports 2 is also under Sports Category not available in all base packs were Star Gold can just be best move for Star d way SPN did with Sony Max mostly Non Sports Package viewers use to watch it there rather than Sony Six or Sony ESPN.

And one more Thing IPL will be Telecasted on Star Sports 1, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 1 Tamil, and more Regional Channels in Bengali, Telugu and Kannada

Yes they could have telecasted isl on star gold to promote it like sony did to telecast it on sony max.
While for ipl I think they can't do that as they have spent huge amount on rights and thry expect some part of it from viewer as subscription fee

SS2 is the least expensive ch, i thought it is available in all base pack everywhere
