Star World announced that the finale episode of the hit show How I Met Your Mother will be aired on 1st of April, 2014. After nine seasons, the hit show will conclude with a special one-hour series finale on Tuesday April 01 at 10PM only on Star World.
How I Met Your Mother is an American sitcom that revolves around Ted Mosby narrating the story of how he met his wife to his children. While living in New York City and working as an architect, Ted narrates anecdotes of his best friends, including Marshall Eriksen and Lily Aldrin- the eccentric couple, Barney Stinson- womanizer-playboy and Robin Scherbatsky the independent news anchor.
Known for its unique structure and eccentric humour, How I Met Your Mother has received positive reviews throughout its run and has gained a cult following over the years. The show has been nominated for 28 Emmy Awards, winning nine. In 2010, Alyson Hannigan won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite TV Comedy Actress. In 2012, seven years after its premiere, the series won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Network TV Comedy, and Neil Patrick Harris won the award for Favorite TV Comedy Actor.
Over its nine year run, the show has garnered a massive fan base and its finale episode is certainly going to be met with eager anticipation from audiences the world over. Fans of the show can catch the finale episode only on Star World on Tuesday, April 01, at 10PM.
