Stereo Dolby Digit Showes on Gemini TV HD

Hi Brother's
In My Sony tv(which is support dolby digital,dolby digital plus) showes stereo dolby digit sound system for gemini tv hd but in other hd channels like star plus,mtunes etc showes dolby digital sound.
Brother's what is the difference between dolby digital and stereo dolby digital?

Stereo dolby is equal to 2.1 Vishnu bro...
Dolby digital is 5.1.
