As I told you previously, you can very well consider Comedy Central as an upscaled HD Channel.

Angel TV also has the HD Logo, but this channel cannot be considered as a true HD Channel.

You need more channels ? If No buy sun direct. If yes, switch to Videocon D2H or stick with Tata Sky. But you wont get cheaper packs like sun direct.

Either try & save money or else go to D2H or stick with TS by paying more. :tup :luv

I compared the monthly packs of all DTH and I think d2h is best in monthly cost. is there any major problem with d2h like stb issues or pq issues.

Customer Care best is Sun Direct & Tata Sky. Dont expect prompt response from Videocon D2H for your queries. Other wise no issue. PQ is good but nothing exceptional. Best PQ SD is Tata Sky & RDTV. HD Packs costlier in D2H because of unwanted HD Access Fee of RS 125 p.m. upto Gold Sports Pack & RS 150 p.m. from diamond packs onwards. This will be additional cost along with your normal pack charge. :tup Think & decide.

I am also paying 125 rs for HD pack in tata sky so I have no issue of paying extra charges for HD packs.

Think about also the STB. If you are used to TS HD+, no other DTH can provide similar quality. Maybe Airtel HD PVR will come close second. If you don't require inbuilt HDD recording, that is a different issue, but in that case, you cannot record two channels simultaneously.

I would like to buy a new DTH connection for my house. I am a tamilian, residing at Kalpakkam, near Mahabalipuram/chennai. I need all the Tamil channels and my wife wants some hindi channels like SONY, STAR+, ZEE etc. Which DTH I should go for, so that my monthly expenditure for DTH may not exceed Rs.150/- p.m. Expecting a quick reply. Getting all Tamil channel under 150 is possible, but the other Hindi channels Star Plus, Sony are pay channels so the package price will also increase.
