It's going to be a hit , no doubt about that . Since TRAI new rule came into force , all packs have become costlier . And in between that sun launched FTA channel . It's blessing in disguise . Who won't watch free brand new channel !!

The good thing with sun TV network is their will be a song for each and every serials which is not in other network channels.

About upto 10 years before all channels (atleast south channels in my knowledge) had theme song in the beginning of serials. Such songs had given big importance that time. For attracting viewers and as an indication of standard of the serial, channels some times brings popular musicians in the film industry. Time changed, trends changed now most serials doesn't play songs.In Malayalam Asianet had given big importance to beginning songs. After acquisition of Star it eventually stopped. Only Sun network follows it.On the other hand Sun still not divorced many things before 10 years

PQ awesome. Shows very good. But they need to add some interactive shows like Cookery show game show quiz etc to sustain as Zee Bangla is a mastermind behind this.

I hope they do. But recent regional channel launches have not been very successful. Zee Keralam and Colors Tamil are floundering because many DDF members have said that they don't have good content. But Sony Marathi has very good content. Still it ranks below Zee Yuva.
Perhaps @Endgame and @Bishnu15 can comment on how good Sun Bangla's shows are. When Airtel adds this channel, @Riddhiman and @Optimus_Prime can perhaps give a detailed review.

Colors Tamil is not a flop. Many serials are watched by many ppl... The expectation was huge and they didn't satisfy that. Plus the Arya show was a disappointment...
