There is confusion, whether EPIC is FTA or pay still.

300-260rs
500-440rs
If we top up sundirect account they deducting gst and again for each channel they asking GST also for NCF they are charging GST.

For watching tv i need to pay 50% Tax

Trai introduced only maximum retail price and not minimum retail price. DPOs will start reducing NCf or give few pay channels free with basic pack. Else they will lose subscribers to online pratforms. Broadband companies like jio can provide fta channels without any NCF and charge money only for pay channels. Most people who have unlimited broadband connections may start using online platforms if DPOs don't reduce rates.

Trai could have set NCF below Rs.100 but still new rule is needed because it help to reduce disputes between broadcasters and DPOs.
