ya its having optical out as well ...so there wont be much difference in the picture quality and sound in the new model HD STB MIN 222 launched by sun direct comparing to HS3A01??

I think, It's automatically working bro, if ur tv not support Dolby means, manually change audio setting, press audio/alt button in remote, then select stereo,

If your tv support Dolby means try this step

Press menu button in remote, then select system, then AC3 Decode Type Select DD or DD+

I tried as per ur direction, in remote as i pressed audio/alt button stereo is working fine, when I select dolby audio option there is no sound, and second way also tried, in audio setup there is no AC3 decode type it only showing stereo and multi audio.....

Bro, , select multi audio & check it's working or not, by the way it's for selected model set top box if possible post your set top box settings snapshots, also try this step

Menu -> Settings -> System Set up -> Audio Settings -> Digital Audio Output -> Multi Channel -> HDMI Audio Output -> Multi Channel

Bro.. Upto multi channel option is coming after selecting multi channel there is no other option like HDMI audio output->multi channel...
I'm selected multi channel but there is no audio...
By the way.. My box model is S52IR...
 
Hi.can anyone let me know can we use 2 port lnb to use 2 set top boxes? What are the pros and cons ? Suggest one good dual port lnb if we can use.

Search online 4 Port Inverto Lnb, in one dish u can use 4 set top box in this lnb

Cons

Don't use cable connection during using lnb, For me just plug cable wire in one tv, due to thunder/lightning 2 lg tv & lnb is damaged 😔
