Actually that is not how GST calculation works in Sun Direct.Once GST is charged it isn't refunded or adjusted. If channel is unsubscribed, then only leftover days channel price will be refunded. @PowerStar bro can confirm. As in your case for 4 channels you have been debited rupees 89.68 (which includes 4*19=76 for channel and remaining 13.68 rupees as 18% gst for 76 rupees)
So sundirect actually took 76 as content charge and remaining 13.68 paid to gst for government.
Now when you removed all your channels content charges for all four channels together comes around 2.53 per day. So 76-2.53 comes 73.47 rupees.. which is credited in your wallet.
Now when you subscribe any channel in future you have been debited only channel charges without additional gst since you already paid GST for 76 rupees. ( Example next time if you want subscribe same 2 HD channels of 19 rs each then you will be debited only 38 rupees from your wallet)
I hope you understand this..
When you add amount to sundirect wallet actually it will be credited as 18% gst adjusted only.Actually that is not how GST calculation works in Sun Direct.Once GST is charged it isn't refunded or adjusted. Yes bro this is present now also.Actually if you cancel any subscription in sundirect they will refund the channel amount inton your wallet . And also for the remaining amount in your wallet you don't need to pay gst in your next subscription provided your subscription not exceeds wallet amount (because your wallet amount already adjusted for gst).
If I add Rs 10 to my Sun Direct wallet, Rs 8.20 will be credited to my sundirect wallet (Rs1.8, 18% GST)Your explanation looks quite reasonable...But when I once again subscribed they charged 22.42 again for 1 channel but when I hain cancelled they gave full 22 Rs Refund...

I am currently subscribed to the 1-year FTA pack, and I am encountering challenges while trying to add single channels or channel packs. The system prompts me to "Select Curate Pack to Proceed," which is unclear and restrictive. Additionally, I noticed that when subscribing via the website, there is an additional ₹50 NCF charge over and above the channel price and GST.
These issues make managing channel subscriptions unnecessarily complex and user-unfriendly. I would like to understand:
1. Why does the system restrict adding/removing channels without selecting a "Curate Pack"?
2. Is there a mechanism to simplify this process and avoid the additional NCF charge when adding channels individually?
3. Are there alternative ways (e.g., app, customer care) to add or remove channels more efficiently?
I request your assistance in resolving these issues to ensure a seamless experience.
