sun direct purchase new tps then add new channels other wise no new channels.

From this coming November 19th onwards, the 4 TPs of 91.5e which were used by Reliance Dth will be free. Sundirect can take that tps at less lease amount from measat and plan for channels additions

I think government clearance also needed to get the TPs.
 
Govt clearance not required. Only regulation is that a private dth or satellite communication company in India can hire a TP from foreign satellites only through isro. Reliance TPs are already leased from measat through isro only. There won't be much difficulty for Sundirect to take those 4 TPs.
Those TPs ill be available in less amount for Sundirect considering that :
1. Reliance was not making the payment for the last few financial quarters. Whatever amount now Sundirect offers is a gain for satellite operator.
2. Sundirect is a loyal customer of Measat from 2010 onwards.
3. The TPs are already allocated for Indian subcontinent. Finding another leaser won't be happening quick. Realigning the beam yo allocate the TP to another geographic area will be an expensive operation for measat.
 
lets wait what sundirect does in channel addition.still in info channel they shows more channels is on the way...
