No new channels,
lot of compressed in new hvec technology.
picture & audio clarity not improved sundirect lost customers.

Sun Direct has started decongesting its Measat TPs by moving some of the SD channels to GSAT 15, which was earlier used only for HD channels.

Among channels moved are CNN (10970), DD News (11090) and others.

The picture quality of these channels on the new satellite is better than what it was on Measat, probably because they are not compressing it as tightly as before.

I am not sure how to check the codec, but it looks like Sun Direct may have converted all its HD channels to HEVC and may be using the freed up space for SD transmission.

We are also facing this problem.
They didn't fix it.
Breakup between rdtv and sd.

I think they alligning channels to separate tp
