Sun Direct HD - Need Help

yes new hd recorder have some problems....
and recording file viewable only 5-8 mins after that video is stucking...

Problem is with your USB Drive. Check the Write Speed and the space left.....that should do the trick.

I am faceing same broplam iam using hp 8gp metal type usb but 4 or 5 mins recordig going smooth after;
Stucking but this brop only HD channel only signal in hd75% help me

i am using brand new 8gb pendrive...

Recently I replaced sun direct HD (non recording) to recording type box.

I am facing two issues with the new sun direct hd box

1) Smooth recording is possible only for sd channels
for hd channels picture strucks

I am facing two issues with the new sun direct hd box

1) For hd channels during recording, picture is strucking in between
(Smooth recording is possible only for sd channels)
Experts in forum says to use faster USB , I tried several usb drives same issue.It is better if these experts recommend part number of the usb pen drive that need to be used for proper hd recording

other issue is

2) Older (non recording) HD BOX was supporting Dolby Digital through HDMI interface (I can directly connect hdmi to home theatre) but new one(recording type) doesnot support this Dolby digital Audio in HDMI Pass through,I ordered SPDIF optical cable and need to wait whether it supports Dolby Digital atleast through optical interface
