Sun Direct has introduced recording feature facility as an addition to its SD services.Subscribers can now record unlimited SD television content via USB port facility in the all new PVR box.The new Sun Direct SD boxes let us attach any external storage like a USB drive or HDD & record TV content on it.The direct-to-home (DTH) company claims the new SD boxes have following advantages: unlimited recording, recording content from a channel while watching other channels, ability to set time up to a week in advance to record future programs, and facility to pause the live channel and watch after a short break.

One question?The recording video(usb) is supporting DVD or not?

sorry :shy cleared concept by reading "PVR Coship SD + GUIDE.pdf" its not media player and cant play mp3 audio or jpg from external source. only recorded files can be viewed. but what is recording format of this receiver? is there any means to convert media files to its recording format so that they are visible on this stb???
