Discussion Sun Direct now provides Dolby Atmos surround sound

Can I buy Dolby atmos home theatre trusting sun dth audio quality, is it good ?? Or poor like dd+

Dolby Atmos sound is good in sun direct but dont buy Home theater now.we have to see whether they will Implement Dolby atmos to other channels or not.

My guess they will implement atmos in sun tv soon and telecast movies alone in atmos

To get atmos effect you need install additional upward facing speakers or speakers in ceiling to get atmos effect,it's speaker setup which gives atmos effect.

As of now only sun direct Testing it, will get Dolby atmos first in sun direct

I have atmos AV receiver & have upward speaker. I am getting Dolby digital plus audio only, so it is Not Dolby atmos in info channel

No you can get Dolby atmos in 5.1 /7.1 . For broadcasting, Dolby atmos will be encoded with Dolby digital plus
