No , DTH company will telecast in their own format based on their hardware /software setup. It is not from broadcaster.

I have optical input home theatre, bro. So told, I felt the difference in Dolby audio. Oh now I understood. But I connected my optical cable, from the TV to home theatre. The TV have Dolby and DTS.

Most of tv will convert Dolby to stereo, only few tv will send Dolby in optical out. May be stereo , you might have get clearer audio.

For true Dolby Atmos effect, either 5.1.2 or 7.1.2 speaker system is required. There are some high end Dolby Atmos sound bars also.

I have 5.1.2 setup (Dolby atmos avr). I am getting only DD+ in avr in info channel. Need to understand what sun direct is Testing, (only in video , dolby atmos present). They are actually testing high rate DD+ as of now. Don’t know their plan

Right I watching sun music hd. There is not getting DD + 5.1 proper. But in MTV beat hd , the DD audio amazing. In Sony Rox also.
