It's a feature of TV to eliminate the set top box.

Not sure but few months back It's only available on Samsung TV only.

Currently IDTV is supported by Airtel, Dishtv and SunDirect. So, can use any of these cards. The sun direct technician was also telling that changing of the dish antenna was also not needed, as the any antenna can work for any operators.

Advantages:
- Can change the DTH operator just like changing a sim card
- Same user interface for all supported DTH operators
- Same remote control for tv and dish
- less wires
DisAdvantages:
- The wire from dish goes directly into the tv. Dont know if there can be issues during thunder strikes
- The quality of SD channels looks somewhat poor currently. Dont know if its issue with sun direct or the tv technology

Is this offer applicable only to Samsung TV customers with an additional port? CC explains like this and since my TV was not Samsung, refused to accept orders. Any clues ?
