'Sun's tariff offer best among DTH players in south'

In response to an article in the TOI titled "Which DTH service provider tops with most channels and best picture quality", Sun Direct says the story "shows ambiguity in Sun Direct's price and channel offerings, especially the South entry pack". A company release sent to this newspaper refers to a chart — "A Comparison of Offerings".

"In the Best Entry pack – South category", Sun Direct says, "You have mentioned all southern states have different packages. Neither is the number of channels nor the price mentioned here. The company feels this is a "serious omission" and adds it has different packages for the respective southern states.

"They all come under a single tariff card of Rs111 + tax, which is the best offer amongst all DTH players in the South market."
