Tamil channels in DTH

Yess...when compare to other dth ..D2h has more tamil channels..even we miss makkal tv.

apart from addon package.. in base pack itself d2h has many tamil channels.. when compare to other dth..

bcz in all other dth.. in baspack very less channels are available we need to pick addon but in d2h even we not choose tamil addon we can get some gud tamil channels in base pack..

after compare of all dth.. i selected d2h recently..i am happy and proud to be D2h customer..

only disadvantage is pothigai in active channel.. why it is in active channell.. my mom still she is use to watch dd pothigai.. but it is difficult for her to watch in d2h..when ddpothigai wil come as normal channel ??

You should be happy that you have 30 channels in tamil. We have just 12 kannada channels with no kannada feed channels. If you want all the tamil channels then please shift to local cable operator because currently dth cant carry so many regional channels.

please dont compare other d2h

first u compare the language wise

hindi language had more music channels and radio service an radio active service

but tamil language had only two radio service and no radio active service...

i compromise about the raj plus and makkal.....but we want tamil audio music radio channels like latest hits, romantic hits, dj hitz, sentimental hits, music space hits, planrt m cinema only........

any option is there for my channel request like fta, sat tric

in my village i refer the videocon d2h upto 73 people they purchased they always request only the music channels ...

in my people feel money is not a problem....we want entertainment......

then your request should be for all DTH.. not only for D2H...

Because none of the other DTH are having dedicated audio service channel for Tamil, dedicated movie service channel for Tamil (except Sun Direct and Airtel)...

I didn't get what is your request here.. Anyway, none of the DTH is offering you to scan for FTA channels except DDD+...

Then you should have gone for sun direct as only they have dedicated tamil channels. Sun wants to focus more on south india then north india whereas videocon focusses on whole india not just one state.

If you want audio channels like planet m , you need to request the provider like planet m. How can you blame D2h for not carrying these channels? How can any dth service provide you such channels when they're not available? You should be happy that D2h carries almost 30 Tamil channels! What would you say to odia, Bengali and other users who get less number of channels? If you are so fond of regional channels, it would be better if you move to cable which will cater more to regional market while D2h or any dth needs to cater to whole India. Com let me remind you that India does not only consist of Tamil Nadu. There are 20+ other states.

dth is for whole india if they will give more emphasis to tamil and all will ask for there rigional channels .... moreover regional channels are only important for local news and that much regional channel is already there in d2h and if you want to watch only regional channel then go for local digital cable .. we should live in whole nation not only in our state..so be happy with national level channels..

I agree that d2h is best in SD channels. What about Tamil HD?. If you consider Tamil HD its only available in Sun Direct. I know the customer service is pathetic. But still i thought of changing from d2h to sun direct.
