As Sun TV bagged the sattelite rights of PS 1 ,PS2 and Chandramukhi 2,looks like Sun TV has cracked a deal with lyca productions...
All channels are busy in acquiring movies ...
Only Star Vijay is sleeping.

Sun TV/Kalaignar TV only acquiring whatever small, medium or big budget movies, It's their time and family fight in movies acquisition. But Acquired movies cost monetise very difficult task for any channels and sometimes takes many years, only if consistently getting Trp with Sponsors.

Star Vijay TV always remains soap opera serials, Reality shows airing channel and rarely acquiring big movies. Currently their main channel doesn't have single movie airing slots in weekdays and weekend, sometimes they're acquiring Big budget movies if Actor/production house associated with their channel, overall they saving huge Revenue and investing on small budget movies which are various stage for digital first. So unlikely they're change their strategy.

Vijay super premiere lot of dubbed movies just to increase their movie library.

It would be great if Star Vijay buys the entire catalogue (tv and digital both) of ap international movies .It would be a great boost for their movie library.
