Mandarin is second most spoken language in the world, why there is no star sports channel in Mandarin? Because Chinese don't watch cricket and there is no market for cricket in China,regional channels launched based on the regions purchasing power, market value and demographic information to milk them with their regional appalling commentary panel

Didn't knew China was an Indian state. Star Sports needs to cater to them. What an epic comparison.

IPL aired in English and Hindi prior to Star acquiring the rights of it. I wonder how Chinese people watched back when Sony had the rights and aired matches in English or later in Hindi. The fact is we are robbed off 4K feed because of unnecessary milking of regional audiences.

Karnataka(kanadiga) people not only lives in Bengaluru, don't spread hate speech on languages, it's everyone's freedom/need to learn multiple languages, who can write and read any one language is literate, regional sports channel are useless, just for generating more money on ads regional sports channels launched

Because states formed on the basis of language in South India, so south indians want special treatment on languages, showing their loyalty/chauvinism for statehood,

If Chinese man wants to watch cricket they prefer English, cricket with English commentary is authentic cricket, cricket with hindi/regional commentary is like watching dubbed English movie

Watching cricket in english is best, as commentators share their knowledge, analysis and replays shown based english commentary like if english commentator talked about last over then replay of last over shown but in regional commentary u can't have that also in tamil commentary they talk non cricket things like about movie and songs especially Rj balaji hes doing comedy show instead of commentary , previously all people (literate and illiterate) watched cricket in english, because of broadcasters greediness launching regional channels for putting more regional ads and national ads

It's not same in all languages. In Kannada feeds they don't miss any analysis. Star had Best Commentry Team in Kannada. We are so much addicted to Kannada Commentary. Now If we turn to English Commentary it look like weird.
Before Entry of Kannada Commentary most of us used mute and watch the match. But now time as changed. We used enjoy the match with Kannada with Prematch and Post match analysis, Separate Programs about other sports
