I use purely a-la-carte pack. Now, when I am trying to add a channel, it is removing all the earlier channels. No option for removing a channel

True. Very bad work by Tata Play in the modified interface.

It will happen only once. After you modify it. It will revert back to old portal.

Yes, for some packs NCF is lesser. It was there in previous packs too.
