If you need cheap annual packs - Airtel is the way to go.
If fan of jingalala offers, Tata.
Whichever box you take, both will eventually get slow over time with security patches and updates.
I have xtreme box 001 and it is Android 11. There is no major changes just few options are disabled. Box is not snappy as it was when I bought it.
Sister is using Binge and it has same drawbacks.
Airtel++:

1. Annual packs
2. UI is like netflix so better than Tata Binge.

Airtel--:

1. 30 day lock in period.
2. No MTVBeats HD is that is imp for you.
3. No broadcast bouquests hence dependent on A-la_karte.

Tata++:

1. Jingalala offers.
2. More bouquets.
3. Favourites channels setting.
4. Better app than airtel.
5. Dish is of better quality. Airtel logo is completely faded and rusted but tata dish still in good shape.

Tata--:

1. Don't like transparent UI. (personal preference)
2. No long duration annual packs. Only monthly packs.

I am stuck between dilemma

I prefer Tata because this whole forum community loves tata & hates airtel so can't go wrong with community suggestions

But airtel now has Android 12, someone from another thread was saying airtel Android 12 box has better processor.

Just can't decide.

You shouldn't even consider android version on these smart boxes. Android 12 on either boxes are far slower than older android version in Mi box 4k or Fire TV Stick.
Processor also shouldn't matter as these android image is itself not optimised for hardware.
My xtreme box has android 11 and I would even pay Airtel 1000 rupees if they can roll it back to Android 9 in stock condition.
Jingalala offers are biweekly offers from TP where they offer special services or channel bouquets at Re 1 for 30 days.
Just imagine getting all English HD Movies channels which will be around 150 rupees at discounted rate of Re 1.
Hence dreamDTH loves TP.

I'm using Android 11 Version, I think in Android 12 also no lag,

By the way i had using tataplay binge 2 connection, monthly once I had format (factory reset) due to slow/hanging, till now not facing any issue in airtel xstream,

U can post ur query in below mentioned thread, hope u will get response from airtel xstream Android 12 users & I think @Vadirocks bro, used android 12 version, he's not facing hanging issue,

any where to identify the box version? i got the box on last may -2023 , don't know the box number / version.. but it works well , opens apps without any issue, slightly slow that's it
