Even then, remember that they (Star Utsav, Zee Anmol, Sony Pal, Rishtey) are from big networks. And no big network is going to give DDFD channels just like that. In short, DDFD ≠ FTA.
For the information of less knowledgeable members: Do you think one of Star's flagship channels, Star Bharat, will be given free? Just because it is on DDFD? Never. A full ₹19 for Star Bharat.

Broadcasters argument is that DDFD is not addressable as there is no monthly charges and even DD does not know how many subscribers they have. As a result TRAI tariff order is not applicable to them

By this move TS is the one who provides maximum number of channels for ₹153. Sadly the minimum spend is ₹153 and is same everwhere.

We can simply say now in the cost of ₹153 we are getting 290 FTA channels which makes a cost of single FTA channel as 0.52

153/290=0.52
