Technically DD+ audio is have much more capacity of audio content in terms of bitrate..... But in simple words DOLBY DIGITAL IS 5.1
and DOLBY DIGITAL PLUS is 7.1 or can be extended more
For this you need to have home Theatre receiver and speakers that supports Dolby digital plus

Both my TV and Home theatre does supports Dolby digital plus.

I am just asking whether the audio quality is improved and superior now.?

I am using Videocon and I am not satisfied with the audio quality.

As I heard, only Tata sky and Airtel digital tv can deliver dd plus audio... May be Sun direct because sun channels have dd plus audio

ofcourse DD+ having more detailed audio than dd . 2.6 mbps vs 256 kbps.

TS is way better than Videocon in sq, with d2h unless it was my avr i never could decode their dd, with ts my tv directly decodes dd/dd+ without the need for avr and sq is mind blowing
