MUMBAI: Direct to home (DTH) operator Tata Sky has partnered Shemaroo Entertainment to launch a Marathi movie-on-demand service Tata Sky Marathi Cinema with effect from 14 December. The service is available on channel no 1205 in regional Marathi GEC. As a special launch offer, the service will available for free for the first 5 days followed by a charge of Rs 30 per month. The service will not be free for Mega Pack subscribers. The service offers a complete package of Marathi cinema including movies, plays, and songs. It will offer a mixed library of titles will be available on the channel including classics as well as latest premieres. Tata Sky Marathi Cinema will be ad-free, and subscribers will be able to view movies that have never been telecasted on other Marathi movie channels.
