Ruposhi Bangla is GEC, but Kolkata TV is News Channel.

Replacement here not in genre but in language. No other good GEC are available as of now which can replace Ruposhi Bangla on Tata Sky. So they add Kolkata TV instead (Bengali News Channel).

Yes, Airtel once had 36 active channels in a single mpeg4 TP, when they were in space crunch, positioned @74 east.
But, now they have fewer channels, coz they arent compressing too much.
