dont complain for not adding more hindi channels..as you take all other dth operators they are in lead regarding south channels.TS seems to be strong in northern india..so they may be concentrating new south peoples.they should add new hd or eng channels as soon as possible

i think sacoeguy is wrong. tatasky not strong in northern india. there are good package in d2h, dish tv, & also airtel. tatasky should be focus in kolkata, delhi & mumbai also. they forget 2nd phase digitization at 38 city in 19 state, they focus only tamil. continue they add 2 tamil ch. add remove 1 bengali ch. in dish tv sananda replace with kolkata tv in this case tatasky replace sananda tv with tamil ch. it is not good for bengali viewers also tatasky market.

why it is not adding good hindi and english channel like big rtl thrill,big cbs prime,cinema tv,9x jalwa,mastii,zing,etc.........

bro tata sky will add now only tamil channels as they want to rule in tamil nadu and overthrow sun direct and v d2h. next target is malalayam market. after they add sufficient number of channels in these 2 markets they will concentrate on other regions and markets.

Actually they want to take advantage of digitization process,, since they have enough customer base in mumbai, delhi, kolkata and in chennai its comparatively low, so its time to increase customer base in chennai as the goverment is putting a stop to cabel network and the people in chennai has pushed to DTH. if they increase tamil channels it will hepls TS to get more customers...

you are wrong d2h is cheap and the best in terms of prices and packages (one of the best packages with all sports channels in one go without any al carte and more music channels).

the pq is also too good as i was using tata sky earlier and past 1 week i am using d2h, i can easily compare and tell that d2h picture quality is too good as they are operating from new satellite ST2 launched in year 2011 made by Mitshubishi Corp, Japan and operated by singapore based singtel which are more advanced, whearase tata sky insat 4b made by ISRO is old one.

tata sky still uses mpeg2 and d2h uses mpeg-4 technology which is more advanced.

morever tata sky tp capacity is 36 MHz bandwidth whereas d2h tp capacity is 54MHz.

so you can see by all terms d2h is far ahead than tata sky.

i dont find any differences in PQ based on your mpeg2 & mpeg 4 transmission. dont just blindly support d2h for being cheap & having more no channels.they are new in market so for getting their space they are providing in low profits.pq& aq you can feel the difference in some really good sd & hd channels.its just bitrate differences as in movies we download..minor ones hard to feel.:wall.you cant compare D2h hd quality with TS & ADTV where it falls behind
