It is not the thread starter's mistake. And we can't expect any thread starters to check multiple sources always. If the first source itself is a well known source, nobody will check further. It is the fault of the website which published the news.
So don't blame the members. Instead of calling the thread as fake thread, we should mention that the website published the wrong news.
