Ajith’s 54th film produced by Vijaya productions and directed by Siva has been titled Veeram.
V is a lucky alphabet for Ajith kumar and his earlier films with 'V' like Vaali, Varalaaru, and Villain were super hits. It is a co-incidence that the production company's name also starts with 'V'
Recently two songs were shot in Switzerland and an important action sequence in a train was shot in Raigada a border town of Odhisha.
“We are confident that ' Veeram' will be a treat to Ajith fans across the globe as it is going to be his Pongal 2014 release”, says a press release.
The cast also has Tamannaah, Santhanam, Bala, Vidharth, Appukutty, Pradeep Rawat, Abhinaya and Vidhyulekha Raman. Cinematographer is Vetri.
The first look poster of Ajith`s Siva directed Veeram has been pasted on walls in Chennai. Producers of Tamil films normally start promoting their biggies from Independence Day (Aug 15).
A poster with the Veshti-clad Ajith with peculiar teeth, wishing the fans a happy Independence Day has appeared and caught the eyes.
But what has caught the trade unaware is that Ajith`s next release the Vishnuvardhan directed Arrambam is yet to kick-start promotions and before that Veeram has come out with first look poster.
Vijaya Productions the producers of Veeram are planning to release the film only for Pongal 2014, but they want an hype to be created around the project.
Veeram directed by Siva has Ajith and Tamannaah in the lead along with Vidharth, Santhanam and Pradeep Rawat in supporting cast. The film has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
