Still I don't understand how can big news networks post they offers affordable/cheap packs, unbelievable PR done by Broadcasters and Govt.

They should not charge (even 0.10ps) for Free Dish channels in DTH/Cable networks or remove their pay channels (0.10 ps or 0.50 ps) from
"They won't remove those channels from DD Free Dish because they barely have any audience on paid DTH platforms. It's like trying to sell sand in a desert!"

In Short: Supreme Court dismissed the plea by saying Broadcasters to first appeal in TDSAT against New Amendments.

A Bench of Justices Pamidighantam Sri Narasimha and Sandeep Mehta was of the view that Tariff orders can be challenged before the Telecom Disputes Settlement Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) instead of directly coming to constitutional courts.
"Having considered the special leave petition in detail, we are of the view that this SLP should be dismissed keeping open for the appellants to move TDSAT challenging the tariff orders under the regulations. The challenge to the regulations can come to this court at a later stage," the Court observed.
