Unless TRAI implements the 15 percent rule, consumers will continue to suffer due to the NTO! It was THE main part of this order and broadcasters successfully got that removed by hook or crook!

Don't you know about this? Surprised.. Earlier Trai told that broadcasters can't give more than 15% discount on total sum of channels in a bouquet. Broadcasters were against it and Delhi High court removed it, but then trai challenged it to the supreme court but withdrew it for some reason, not sure about that.

Removed all sh#t channels only Pay channel I subscribed and worth my money is Sony BBC Earth HD.

RS Sharma was re-appointed as chairman of Trai. This is for the first time that any Trai chief has got an extension beyond the three-year tenure. He will now remain as chairman till September 30, 2020. More to worry about.
