Proton-M is set to launch site Baikonur cosmodrome

Preparation for the 2014 launch of the carrier rocket "Proton" is going according to plan. In mid-February, "Proton" should be put into orbit five-ton Turkish communications satellite "Turksat-4A."

In accordance with the decision of the State Commission, this morning held a removal of a space rocket "Proton-M" with the upper stage "Briz-M" and spacecraft "Turksat-4A" with complex (TC) at the start.

Currently RKN "Proton-M" is set and the trigger is translated into a vertical position. Khrunichev Khrunichev specialists and other space industry have initiated work on the schedule of the first "launch day."

Prior to export to the launch pad "Proton" a few days was on technological refueling site. TZP on a space rocket delivered Feb. 9 for refueling tanks low pressure booster after in assembly and testing facility 92-A50 completed its assembly and testing.

Launch of "Turksat-4A" is scheduled for February 15.

New Turksat satellite is still moving, and has not arrived @42e position as of now. :k

after launch of 9B we will not be able to watch this satellite as europe beam will not have good channels All packages will be shifted to Germany italian Nordic beam

Europe may have few fta channels but not like OTE KABEL KIOSK HELLHD

R u having its official footprints ?
We are not receiving this satellite anyhow, so even if one beam covers India to some extent, it wud be gud for us ;)

we are receiving full 9 east and full packages working on sharing channels like set hd 13 street hd axn hd fox hd syfy hd and many many more all will be gone :(

As its name European beam, we sure have to expect european channels on it, and this time the footprints are reaching Delhi with higher gain may be fetch on 90cm dish.

Presently this satellite is testing @50e with 4 test carrier freq. :win

@vijay mahanta: The official footprints have been removed from the website. Even if we go by earlier footprints of 9B, we wont get it by 90 cm dish.

40 dbW beam is coming close to delhi, but not covering it. Minimum of 120 cm dish is a must, 5 ft dish shud def. do the trick ;)
