Upgrade from Normal D2h Box to HD Box ??

I currently have the normal d2h box, but as we bought a new LCD.. i am not getting the quality of output that i was looking for.

So, would The Hd box provide much better pictures ?? and what are the charges to upgrade to that ?? or do i have to get new HD Box altogether ???

or should i shift to any other dth provider ??

In HD picture will be 5 times more sharper than normal SD picture.
