Its already waste channel .i feel the competition between star vijay and zee tamizh only.so colors tamil will compete with them.old people only watching sun tvs mokka serials and repeated telecast of old movies.star vijay and zee tamizh bags most new tamil movies satellite rights.now it will be tough competition with colors tamil

Udaya did not lose first place, it was never there. Only because of some new movies, ratings for Udaya go up sometimes. Colors Kannada, Zee Kannada and Star Suvarna have always been in the race for top spot with regard to non-movie content.

Zee Kannada Cinema was once on the papers. They postponed the plan. Probably after they launch Zee Kannada HD and acquire enough movies, they may come up with the shelved movie channel in SD and HD similar to Telugu. Don't know about Tamil.

Zee is Active in Tamil , Kannada , Telugu satellite rights Acquireing and buying big and Small budget movies rights in 3 Language Channels
Already Zee Kannada started old movies Rights Renewed and Telecasting every Saturday 3:30 pm
Also Zee Telugu also started movie rights Renewals Telecasting Saturday 3:30 pm
I think next is Zee Tamil also starting Movies Renewals

I think they will launch Marathi movie channel in near future as they have started producing Marathi movies like Zee.
