Not like that bro :no ,it was about 3 yr since the thalaiva film issue on tamil nadu,the film was not released due to politicians issue only in tamilnadu.The film got released after a 15 days in tamilnadu. Due to the film release delay,one coimbatore guy of vijay fan club suicided for that.
